Care and Maintenance of Bathroom Vanities

- Do not use any silicone based polish or cleaner as the chemicals and solvents can cause the protective finish to weaken.
- Pieces may be wiped off with a damp cloth.
- Furniture should not be exposed to strong sunlight, heat outlets, or open windows. Direct sunlight can cause fading of the finishing materials.
- Liquids should be wiped from the surface along the grain pattern of the wood immediately with a soft dry cloth.
- Dry air can cause shrinkage, warping and seasonal cracks in all wood products, especially during the winter when your furnace is operating. To protect your furnishings from climate changes, use a humidifier in the winter and an air conditioner in the summer to keep the relative humidity at its lowest levels.
- Frequent dusting will remove abrasive dust buildup, which can damage a finish over time.
